God Created Mommies

Review the central truth, the memory verse, prayer and
confessions, and read the Bible story with your child each
day. As this is done, let your child color in or put a sticker
on the power outlet located on the back of the devotional.
At the end of the week please sign as proof of completion
and return to the teacher. Children who complete 3 weeks
Power Cords in a month will have their picture posted in
the foyer of Power Source.

God gave us mothers to take care of us and teach us good
things. He wants us to honor them. Mothers Day is a special
time to honor our moms. When God gave Moses the 10
commandments, one of those commands was for children
to honor their father and mother. When we do that, we are
promised that things will go well with us and we will live a long
life on earth. Its important that we obey our moms and tell
them that we love them.
God,
Thank you so much for my mom. Help me to honor her.
She is such a blessing to me. Give her peace today and
may the joy of the Lord be her strength. Help me to obey
my parents so things will go well with me and I will live
a long life on the earth. Bless Pastor Ron and his family
with strength and grace. Help me to look for ways to
bless others. Thank you that because of Jesus, I am healed
and whole.
