I choose the novel Step by Wicked Step written by Anne Fine.

The moral that appeals to me is by

having the sense of responsibility. I choose this moral because by showing responsibility towards
yourself and others defines who you are. This moral must be in ourselves.
First of all, this moral is shown by Claudia as she is responsible towards her parent. For example,
she decided to take care of her mothers feelings b talking coldly to her father while on the phone and
sounding not too happy.
Apart from that, Richard also showed his sense of responsibility as eldest sibling in the family.
For instance, Richard felt guilty for leaving his family without telling them.
Last but not least, there is also sense of responsibility shown by Hetty towards her step sisters.
As example, Hetty taught Pixie Mathematics to help her improve in that subject as she feels responsible
to her sister.
As a conclusion, the sense of responsibility are shown by three of the characters which is
Claudia, Richard and Hettyexspecially towards her own family. I hope I can be a great person by being a
responsible person.
