Satellite East Middle School MS 301, in an effort to maximize impact on student outcomes, has
developed a specific, formalized method of generating, disseminating, and applying data.

The Satellite East Data Method is as follows:


Prior to building school wide data literacy
1. Generate Data
administer assessment

2. Sort Data (core subject teachers)
group similar performance indicators
3. Disaggregate Data (core subject teachers)
separate data:
by grade
by class
by sub-group
by student
4. Disseminate data to all school based stakeholders
