    This design bulletin standardizes the referencing of boosted cold water pumpsets (BCWP) on projects. BCWP will be referenced as BCWP-XX-XX, where the first XX indicates the level (e.g. GR for ground floor) and the second XX is the reference number. If there are multiple BCWPs on the same level, consecutive reference numbers will be used. For example, BCWP-GR-01 and BCWP-GR-02. Specifications will also use this BCWP-XX-XX format and will be revised by the Senior Mechanical Engineer.

    Booster Pumpset

    Purpose :
    This bulletine is being issued, to standardize boosted cold water pumpset references. This will be
    implemented on all future projects.
    Description:

    Boosted Cold Water Pumpset will always be referenced as BCWP xx xx.


    Where, BCWP stands for Boosted Cold Water Pumpset,
    First xx stands for the level, where the pumpset is located,
    Such as GR for Ground Floor,
    B1 for Basement level 1,
    B2 for Basement level 2,
    RF for Roof, etc.
    Second xx stands for Reference Number, such as 01, 02 etc.

    When there are more than one booster pumpset on the same level, then the next reference number should be
    used.
    For example,
    BCWP-GR-01 is the reference for booster pumpset on Ground Floor.
    BCWP-GR-02 is the reference for another booster pumpset on Ground Floor.
    The specifications will also refer to booster pumpset as BCWP xx xx. A change in specification will be
    carried out Sr. Mechanical Engineer.
