Job Summary and Key Performance Indicators:

Report to Shift Leader
In charge of Real Time Navigation of seismic acquisition vessels. Collect and check navigation data.

Key Job Responsibilities:
Operate the navigation instrumentation on board our seismic vessels.
Realize the vessel positioning, quality control and recording of all navigation data during seismic
acquisition.
Ensure compliance with HSE procedures on board the vessel.

Skills/Experience :
Electronics, or hydrographic, experience in hardware maintenance
Professional experience in positioning systems (DGPS, echo sounders, acoustics systems, radio).
Good computer skills required. Knowledge of Linux and Networks would be appreciated.
Seismic experience in Seismic Seabed crews or offshore experience would be appreciated. Knowledge of
multi-vessel Navigation software would be an advantage (gator, Triggerfish, etc.).
Excellent communication skills with proven leadership capabilities. Ability to work abroad in an
international environment and sometimes in challenging field conditions. Ability to work as a team player
with a spirit of initiative

Typical Background: (Education & Experience)
Technician or BSC (electronics, marine science, hydrographic, surveying, mapping and geodetics, IT,
marine technology etc.)

Business travel requirements (if any)
Valid Passport

Languages:
English is essential
Spanish is appreciated
