Step 1 Battery
Lay the laptop upside down.
Locate the two battery lock tabs.
Step 2

Slide the tabs outward to unlock the battery.
The left tab will remain unlocked, while the right tab must be held.
Holding the right tab open, slide the battery towards you to remove.

Step 3 Screen

Remove screw covers with tweezers (6)
Remove screws (4.6 mm) from beneath screw covers (6)
Step 4
Undo plastic clips on display
covering with plastic opener tool
Detach display cover from laptop

Step 5

Remove the 4 screws (3.6 mm)
Remove the screen slowly from the rest of the laptop.
The screen is still attached to the laptop by a set of cables. Do not remove it too
fast or cables may rip.
Step 6

Remove the plastic tape
Slide the cables out parallel to the screen.

Unscrew the 4 housing screws (3.1 mm) located on the sides of the housing frame
