Objectives: The students will be able to develop hand-eye coordination and teamwork
Materials Needed: Four Dodge balls (Two Different Colors) One Soccer Ball Quarter Chalk *Ill create the pre-made circle for them
Procedures: 1. Have a group of four students and split them into pairs. 2. After already having the circle drawn, I will place the dodge balls into the middle of the circle. They will be called the shooters. 3. So it will be fair, I will flip a quarter to see which group will shoot first. 4. The group going first will be a certain color according to the different color dodge balls. The team will have to roll the soccer ball at one of the opposing groups doge balls and try to knock it out of the circle. 5. Once they have a turn, then one of the others group players will roll the soccer ball and vice versa. 6. Whichever pair knocks out the opposing groups balls will win the round!
Lesson: -The primary idea for this activity is for the students to learn to work together.
Assessment: -After the children play the game, I would ask them to write me/or tell me a brief summary of why its so important to cooperate and work together with your peers.
