VICTIM SUPPORT
Victim Support helps all victims and witnesses of crime right across England and Wales. Its

Shelter gives confidential advice to people with all kinds of housing problems e.g.
repossession, eviction, bad housing, waiting list priority, eviction for rent arrears etc.
Mental Health
MIND
Offers a range of free, confidential and non-judgmental services for those who may be
experiencing mental health problems. MIND has an open door policy but it is necessary to
phone for an appointment. Referral by a MIND worker is necessary for counselling and some
groups. There may also be a waiting list.
SAMARITANS
Samaritans is a confidential emotional support service for anyone in the UK and Ireland. The
service is available 24 hours a day for people who are experiencing feelings of distress or
despair, including those which may lead to suicide.
