5B NEWSLETTER Mr. Whisnant’S Memo: Another week has rapidly gone by, and Christmas Holiday’s are coming even quicker. Our trip to the DMZ was awesome. This Friday is another day off for students. Mr. Lazor is directing our 5th grade in-class project. This project is a computer-based learning project. Students are researching, preparing, and Friday November 20th – presenting their findings. As part of the assessment, students will take an “open-Mac” test. Students will be placing their findings on a WIKI. Our Presentations will be to ALL of fifth grade. Students will be receiving 3 major test grades for the project. They will be graded on Individual achievement, Group Presentation, and then the written “open- Mac” test. Exciting times for Social Studies!
