For Immediate Release November 12, 2009

The Bakersfield Police Department is requesting the public’s assistance in

identifying a suspect wanted for viewing a woman in a department store fitting
room without her knowledge.

On 10/7/09, at about 1:50 p.m., the suspect depicted in the attached surveillance
photos walked into one of the women’s fitting rooms at Macys Department Store,
2601 Ming Avenue, and used some sort of camera phone to presumably take a
picture of her by holding the device under the fitting room door. When the woman
saw what was happening she screamed and the suspect fled.

He is described as a dark complexioned male 18-20 years old with short dark
hair, wearing a light colored sweater, light blue jeans, and white shoes.

Anyone with any information regarding the identity of the suspect in this case is
encouraged to call contact Detective Damon Youngblood at 326-3558.
