Maurice Wilkes was the

first programmer for
assembly code.
The edsac computer was
the first with assembly code
on it, in 1949.
Assembly code reduced
errors, faster translation
times, changes could be
made easier and faster.
ASSEMBLY CODE
Made in 1959 But was revised in 1974,
1974 and 2002.
This was made by Grace Hopper
finance, and administrative systems
for companies and governments.
