Volcanoes are vents or

openings in the earth which


lava, gas, rock, and ash burst
during an eruption.
Heat and pressure within the earth are
so great they can melt rock and send it,
along with other materials ,flaming
upward into the sky.
In Japan, United States, the
Pacific Ocean, and Italy. They
happen day or night and
anytime.

It can cause people to burn and
die. They can also cause land
to burn and when the lava
cools down it can cause land
damage.
In 1980 the ground shook in
Washington State. Mount St. Helens
rumbled . Then bang it erupted! The
side of the volcano blew off. The top of
the mountain was suddenly gone.
1.In Iceland you can swim in pools
heated by volcanoes.
2.Some volcanoes erupt in a loud
fiery explosion.
3. Deadly gas and ash fill the air from
volcanoes.
Go to a cellar or a basement
with a safety kit.
Follow evacuation orders from
emergency officials.

aid kit. And phones.
