Bill #1 The Organ Consent Act

Many people around the world die because the doctors and the hospitals couldn't find an organ
available or fast enough to save their lives.
Over 100,000 people in the U.S. are waiting for an organ donation.
There's no defined cutoff age for donating organs. The decision to use your organs is
based on strict medical criteria, not age.
The organ donor's family is never charged for donating.
Every 10 minutes, a new person is added to the organ transplant waiting list.
On average, 18 people die every day because they did not receive a needed
organ donation. The more people that are organ donor registrants, the more
chances at life these people have.
Organ donation will not effect a funeral viewing. Because a body is clothed
during most funerals, evidence of organ removal is concealed. Eyes are closes,
concealing eye donation, and skin graphs are taken from the back side,
concealing tissue donation.
All of the arguments that will or was brought up have been shot down with these six facts, not
helping others when you're dead with your organs is valuing your dead body over someone's life.
