I am writing on behalf of Jennifer Thomas; Jennifer joined our team five summers
ago as a Summer Camp Counselor at YMCA Camp Thunderbird. I have been
consistently impressed with her performance. Jennifer not only satisfactorily performed
her base duties as a supervisor of a group of children, but excelled and went above and
beyond when it came to developing relationships with the children she supervised and
other staff. Over the last few years, Jennifer has been promoted to Unit Director and now
to Parent Communication Director, a key position in our Senior Leadership Team.

After participating in (and later leading) staff training, Jennifer received little
direction nor did she require it. Jennifer is a self-starter, frequently solving problems and
creating solutions on the spur of the moment while she assists children and staff. Her
attention to detail and character are exemplary, and she can be counted on to have a
positive attitude no matter the circumstances.

I have seen Jennifer grow in a challenging environmentone that is hot, dirty,
and difficultand still be successful. I would highly recommend Jennifer for another
position that is challenging, knowing that she will rise to the occasion. As you can tell by
now, I am quite impressed with this outstanding young woman and give her my strongest
recommendation for roles which require intelligence, organization, communication skills,
