SPECIFICATION

Erecting of scaffolding
Contractor should do necessary erecting and removing of scaffolding for the cladding work and rate
shall include erecting of necessary suitable system to install cladding and should take all necessary
safety protections.

Sub frames of the beam, wall & column cladding

Sub frame of the beams, walls & columns cladding should be in 50mm x 50mm x 1.5mm thick
vertical & horizontal box sections. Maximum distance between sub frame members is 1200mm c/c
and should Powder Coated. All cross bracings should be 38mm x 38mm x 3mm powder coated L
angles and fixing brackets to beams/walls/ columns should be 50mm x 50mm x 3mm powder coated
L angles with s/steel bolts. Contractor should submit details shop drawing for prior approval.

Fastener and anchors

i) Rivets - to be of Aluminium alloy large flange head with stainless steel
mandrel.
ii) Fastener - Included screws, bolts, nuts etc. to be of non-magnetic stainless
steel. Stainless Steel grade AIS 304
iii) Anchors - To be specified by the contractor with consideration of structural
and functional usage. Brands Hilti, Fischer, Ramset, Anchors shall be stainless steel grade
304.

Cladding sheets

- Aluminium composite wall 4mm thick cladding panel should be in 0.5mm thick aluminium foil
in both side of the panel and core should be in 3mm thick PE or Fr. Back side of the panel
should be treated for prevent corrosions (should be powder coated or chromate) and coating
should be in PVDF coated and it has to be given manufacture warranty for will not flake,
blister, check, crack, or peel (loose adhesion) when exposed to the weather.

- Cladding sheet should not fade or change colour on exposed coated surfaces

- The contractor shall provide at least 10 years guarantee.

Structure for concealed grove system
Should be in powder coated aluminium sections to hold the cladding (brackets) and contractor
should submit the details of concealed grove system. Minimum wall thickness of the panel fixing
sections should be in 3.0mm and groves are filled with foam rubber backing and RTV silicon sealants
with neat and clean. All silicon gaps should maintained in same size.
