Rota ES Grades 1-2 Sevillana Dance Club

We are pleased to inform you that Rota Elementary is offering After School Sevillana Club for Students in Grades 1-2. The students will
learn the steps to the Sevillana dance, an Andaluca dance which is danced at Feria time in the spring.
All we need from parents is written permission (space is limited to 15 students, It will be luck of the draw) I will confirm with you) for
your child to come after school on Wednesdays, and an understanding that you will arrange for transportation from school to home at
3:40 p.m. sharp on days they attend Sevillana Dance Club. The Sevillana Dance Club will be held from 3:00 to 3:40 p.m. on the following
dates at the MPR building (cafeteria). I will contact you if your child is in the club.

PICK UP AREA: Will be outside the Main office at 3:40 p.m. Please be prompt. If there is a last minute cancelation, I will email to notify
you, if unable to reach you. 2) Your child will go on the bus or walk home as usual at the normal school days end. 3) If you can't pick up
your child or you have someone else picking up your child, please let me know thru e-mail or call 727-4185 Off Base 956-82-4185
I would like you to help your child to know their right from their left. (left foot, left hand, right foot, and right hand etc.)
For Recital: GIRLS: They will wear their Feria dress. If you don't have one, perhaps you can borrow one from another child or buy one.
Wear hair in a high bun with hair combs and a flower on the side. BOYS: Wear black pants, dress shoes, white or red long sleeve shirt and a
sash around their waist. If they have a flamenco hat, they can wear the hat during the recital.
If you want your child to attend Rota ES Sevillana Dance Club, please sign the permission slip below, tear off and return to Ms Cuba. I
