Portable Weather Station

Intended use
The portable weather station displays the temperature

in Celsius (C) or Fahrenheit (F), the air humidity in per
cent (% RH) and their maximum and minimum values. The
weather station also displays the weather forecast, the time
in 12 / 24-hour clock modes and the date. In addition, the
weather station also has an alarm and calendar function as
well as a barometer and an altimeter. Other uses or changes
to the device are considered to be contrary to the intended
use and may result in personal injury and / or damage to the
device. The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage
caused through the use of the device in contradiction of its
intended use. The device is not intended for commercial use.

DANGER TO LIFE AND

ACCIDENT HAZARD FOR TODDLERS
AND SMALL CHILDREN! Never allow
children to play unsupervised with the packaging material.
There is a danger of suocation from the packaging
material. Children frequently underestimate the dangers.
Children should be kept away from the product at all times.
This is not a toy.
DANGER TO LIFE! Batteries can be swallowed, which
may represent a danger to life. If a battery has been
swallowed, medical help is required immediately.
Children or persons who lack the knowledge or experience to use the device or whose physical, sensory or
intellectual capacities are limited must never be allowed
to use the device without supervision or instruction by a
person responsible for their safety. Children must never
be allowed to play with the device.
Do not use the device if it is damaged. Damaged devices
represent a danger of death from electric shock!
Do not use the device in hospitals or medical facilities, as
otherwise this may result in malfunctions of life-support
systems.

Otherwise there is a danger that the device will be
damaged.
Do not expose the device to an extremely high electromagnetic eld. This may impair the correct functioning of
the device. Electrostatic charge can result in malfunction
of the device. In case of malfunctions remove the battery
shortly and replace it again.
Please note that the guarantee does not cover damage
caused by incorrect handling, non-compliance with the
operating instructions or interference with the device by
unauthorised individuals.
Under no circumstances should you take the device apart.
Improper repairs may place the user in considerable
danger. Repairs should only be carried out by specialist
personnel.
Safety Instructions for the battery

Remove the battery from the device if it is not going to

be used for a prolonged period.

CAUTION! DANGER OF EXPLOSION! The battery

must never be recharged!
Ensure correct polarity when inserting the battery! This
is indicated in the battery compartment.
If necessary, clean the battery and device contacts
before inserting the battery.
Remove a spent battery immediately from the device.
There is an increased danger of leaks!
Batteries must not be disposed of in the normal domestic
waste!
Every consumer is legally obliged to dispose of batteries
in the proper manner!
Keep the battery away from children; do not throw it in
the re, short-circuit it or take it apart.
Use batteries of the same type only.
If the above instructions are not complied with, the
battery may discharge itself beyond its end voltage.
There is a danger of leaking. If the battery has leaked
inside your device, you should remove it immediately in
order to prevent damage to the device!
Avoid contact with the skin, eyes and mucous membranes.
Any parts of the body coming into contact with battery
acid should be rinsed o with copious amounts of water
and / or a doctor contacted if necessary!

Starting the weather station up
Note: When setting it up, if you do not press any button

within 60 seconds, the weather station will automatically
return to the output mode.
During the set-up procedures, press and keep the

RESET 1 or ST. / STP. buttons 4 pressed down. This
will accelerate the set-up.
Regulating the default settings

for language, time, date, time zone
Press the MODE button 2 as often as necessary until

the date display 9 (day of the week mode) appears
in the display 5 .
Hold the MODE button 2 down for two seconds to
get to the set-up mode.
Press the RESET button 1 or ST. / STP. Button 4 to select
the language you wish to have for the date display 9 .
Press the MODE button 2 to set the time zone.
Using the RESET button 1 or the ST. / STP. button 4
to choose between the following time zones:

Press the MODE button 2 to set the year. Use the RESET
button 1 or ST. / STP. button 4 to set the current year.
Press the MODE button 2 to set the month. Use the
RESET button 1 or ST. / STP. button 4 to set the current
month.
Press the MODE button 2 to set the day. Use the RESET
button 1 or ST. / STP. button 4 to set the current day.
Press the MODE button 2 , to set the date format.
Use the RESET button 1 or the ST. / STP. button 4 to
choose between the formats of month / day or day / month.

Deactivating / activating the display
You can deactivate the display 5 to save battery power.

Note: The clock will still work even if the display 5 has
been deactivated.

Press the RESET 1 or ST. / STP. 4 button to set the
value you wish to have. The symbol

The alarm will sound for 30 seconds every day at the

set time.
Press button 1 , 2 or 3 to stop the alarm sounding.
If you press the ST. / STP. button 4 when the alarm is
sounding, you will activate the snooze function ( ).
The alarm sound will stop and will be re-activated after
8 minutes.
Press any button to leave the snooze function.
Activating the hourly alarm

ALM appears in the display 5 .
Press the RESET button 1 down for 2 seconds to
switch the hourly alarm on or o.
Note: If the hourly alarm is switched on, the symbol
will appear in the display 5 . The alarm tone will sound
on the hour every hour. The alarm consists of a single
beep sound.

Using the stopwatch
The weather station has a stopwatch function. You can

measure minutes, seconds and hundredths of seconds.

Press the ST. / STP. button 4 to start the stopwatch.
Press the button again to stop the stopwatch.
The display 5 will indicate the time between start
and stop.
If you press the ST. / STP. button 4 again, the time will
continue to run again.
Press the RESET button 1 for 2 seconds to reset the
stopwatch display to 0 again.
Note: With time measurements longer than one hour,
the hours, minutes and seconds are indicated in the time
display.
Timing / storing and

retrieving lap times
Timing and storing lap times

You can time and store up to 10 lap times.
Press the ST. / STP. button 4 to start the stopwatch.

Press the RESET button 1 to time a lap. The lap number

will ash in the time display 10 and the lap time will be
indicated in the display 5 for about 10 seconds. After
that, the time will continue.
Press the RESET button 1 again to time another lap.
Press the ST. / STP. button 4 to stop the stopwatch.

Retrieving lap times

Press the MODE button 2 for 2 seconds in order to
retrieve the lap times. LAP ashes.
Use the RESET button 1 and the ST. / STP. button 4 to
select the lap times you want. The display 5 shows the
total stopped time as soon as the symbol appears.
Press the ALTI / BARO-button 3 again to get back to
stopwatch mode.
Press the RESET button 1 for 2 seconds to delete the
lap times.
Using the countdown counter
1. Press the MODE button 2 as often as necessary until

TMR appears in the display 5 .

6. Press the ALTI / BARO button 3 to get back to countdown mode.
7. Press the ST. / STP. button 4 to start the countdown.
8. Press the ST. / STP. button 4 again to stop the countdown.
Note: During the last 10 seconds, a signal will sound
every second. When the countdown has nished, a
signal will sound for thirty seconds.
9. Press any button to stop signal. After the signal, the set
countdown time will appear in the display 5 again.
10. Repeat the previous steps to set another countdown time.
Displaying the world times
Note: You can display the times in up to 60 towns around

the world.

Please consult the table in the section called Regulating

You can switch the summer time on or o in world time
mode by pressing the RESET button 1 or the ST. / STP.
button 4 for 3 seconds.
Note: When you activate summer time, the symbol
DST appears in the LC display.
Press the ALTI / BARO button 3 to leave the world time
mode.
Using the barometer
Note: When the air pressure measured is more than

1100 h / Pa, HI will appear in the display 5 .
Note: When the air pressure measured is less than 300 h / Pa,
LO will appear in the display 5 .
Press the ALTI / BARO button 3 as often as necessary
until hPa (hectopascal) or mb (millibar) appear in the
display 5 .

Adjusting the barometer
In order to ensure a measurement that is as precise as possible, the barometer has to be adjusted. Contact your local
weather service for precise information regarding air pressure.
Entering incorrect data could lead to errors in measurements
carried out at a later date.

Adjusting the altimeter
The absolute elevation reading is measured by means of the

change in air pressure. In order to ensure a measurement
that is as precise as possible, the altimeter has to be adjusted
from time to time. Make sure that you adjust the altimeter in
a place that lies at sea level (0 metres) or at a place whose
height above sea level you can enter as a reliable reference.
Imprecise details could lead to errors in later measurements.

Weather forecast
Note: Please take the weather forecast from your local

weather forecasting service into account as well as the
forecast from your weather station. If there are discrepancies
between the information from your device and from the local
weather forecasting service, please take the advice of the
latter as authoritative.

You can get a more precise weather forecast if you stay in
a place with constant air pressure for 24 hours.

Note: If the ambient temperature is too high, the LC display

will turn black.
If the temperature measured is more than + 60 C / 140 F,
HI will appear in the display 5 .
If the temperature measured is less than -10 C / 14 F,
The temperature is displayed in degrees Celsius or Fahrenheit.

The humidity is displayed permanently. The value is updated

Retrieving the maximum

and minimum values
You can display the maximum / minimum values of the

humidity, temperature, air pressure and height measured.
Displaying the max. / min. temperature / humidity
in the display 5 .
Press the RESET button 1 twice. The display 5 will
indicate the maximum and minimum values measured
for temperature and humidity.
During displaying the minimum and maximum values
press the RESET button 1 for approx. 3 seconds to
reset the maximum value.

When you get to a warmer ambient temperature, the battery
symbol will disappear again.
If the weather station does not work in extremely cold
environments, remove the battery and warm it up in the
palm of your hand. Put the battery back in as described in
the section Changing the battery.
Changing the battery
With the aid of a suitable coin, turn the lid of the

battery compartment anti-clockwise to open it.
Remove the lid.
Remove the used battery and replace it with a new
battery (type: button cell 3 V lithium CR 2032).
Ensure correct polarity.
Replace the lid onto the battery compartment. Make
sure that the rubber seal ts correctly onto the lower
side of the lid.
Using a suitable coin, turn the lid clockwise in order to
close it.

Cleaning and Maintenance
Under no circumstances should you use liquids or

detergents, as these will damage the device.
The device should only be cleaned on the outside with
a soft, dry and lint-free cloth.
Disposal
The packaging is made entirely of recyclable
materials, which you may dispose of at local
recycling facilities.
Contact your local refuse disposal authority for more details

of how to dispose of your worn-out product.
In the interests of environmental protection you
should not dispose of your device when it is no
longer required in the normal domestic waste,
but should return it to a specialist disposal point.

their opening times can be obtained from your
local authority

Faulty or used batteries must be recycled in accordance

with Directive 2006 / 66 / EC. Please return the batteries
and / or the device to the available collection points.

Environmental damage through

incorrect disposal of the batteries!
Batteries must not be disposed o with domestic waste.

They may contain toxic heavy metals and are subject to
hazardous waste treatment rules and regulations. The
chemical symbols of the heavy metals are as follows:
Cd = cadmium, Hg = mercury, Pb = lead. That is why you
should dispose of used batteries at a local collection point.

Mobilna vremenska postaja pokazuje temperaturu u celzijima

(C) ili Fahrenheit-ima (F) i vlanost zraka u (% RH), kao i
njihove maksimalne i minimalne vrijednosti. Dodatne pokazne
vrijednosti vremenske postaje su vremenska prognoza, vrijeme
u formatu 12 / 24 sata kao i nadnevak. Nadalje vremenska
postaja opremljena je sa funkcijom za alarm i kalendarom, te
tlakomjerom i visinomjerom. Druga vrsta uporabe ili promjene
ureaja smatrat e se nenamjenskim i mogu prouzrokovati
opasnosti od ozljeda i / ili oteenja ureaja. Proizvoa ne
preuzima nikakvu odgovornost za tete nastale od nenamjenske

pokazivau 5 se pokae LO.
Temperatura se pokae u celzijima ili Fahrenheit-ima.

Pritiskajte tipku MODE 2 toliko esto, sve dok se na pokazivau 5 ne pojavi pokazivanje nadnevka 9 (modus dan).

postaja ne funkcionira u veoma hladnoj okolini, izvucite

postavite bateriju sukladno opisu u lanku Zamjena baterije.
Zamjena baterija
Kako bi otvorili poklopac baterijskog kuita, okreite

odgovarajuom kovanicom u suprotnom smjeru vrtnje
kazaljke sata.
Otklonite poklopac.
Izvucite istroenu bateriju i zamjenite je za novu
(tip: elija u obliku gumba od 3 V litij CR 2032).
Pri tome vodite rauna o ispravnoj polarizaciji.
Postavite poklopac na baterijsko kuite. Vodite rauna
o tome, da je gumeno brtvilo na donjoj strani poklopca
ispravno postavljeno.
Kako bi zatvorili poklopac, okreite ga odgovarajuom
kovanicom u smjeru vrtnje kazaljke sata.

Utilizare corespunztoare scopului
Staia meteorologic portabil indic temperatura n Celsius (C) sau Fahrenheit (F), umiditatea aerului n (% RH),
ct i valorile lor maxime i minime. Alte valori indicate de
staia meteorologic sunt prognoza meteo, ora ntr-un format 12-/24 de ore ct i data. De asemenea, staia meteorologic mai deine o funcie de alarm i calendar ct i
un dispozitiv de msurare a presiunii aerului i a nlimii.
Alte utilizri sau modicri ale aparatului sunt considerate
necorespunztoare scopului i pot cauza accidentri
i / sau deteriorri ale aparatului. Pentru daunele cauzate
de o utilizare necorespunztoare scopului, productorul nu

Bestimmungsgeme Verwendung
Die tragbare Wetterstation zeigt die Temperatur in Celsius

(C) oder Fahrenheit (F), die Luftfeuchtigkeit in (% RH),
sowie deren Maximal- und Minimalwerte an. Weitere
Anzeigewerte der Wetterstation sind die Wetterprognose,
die Zeit im 12- / 24 Stundenformat sowie das Datum.
Des Weiteren verfgt die Wetterstation ber eine Alarmund Kalenderfunktion und ber einen Luftdruck- und Hhenmesser. Andere Verwendungen oder Vernderungen des
Gertes gelten als nicht bestimmungsgem und knnen
Verletzungsgefahren und / oder Beschdigungen des Gertes
nach sich ziehen. Fr aus bestimmungswidriger Verwendung
entstandene Schden bernimmt der Hersteller keine Haftung.
Das Gert ist nicht fr den gewerblichen Einsatz bestimmt.

Entfernen Sie die Batterie, wenn sie lngere Zeit nicht

verwendet worden ist, aus dem Gert.
VORSICHT! EXPLOSIONSGEFAHR! Laden Sie die
Batterie niemals wieder auf!
Achten Sie beim Einlegen auf die richtige Polaritt!
Diese wird im Batteriefach angezeigt.
Reinigen Sie Batterie- und Gertekontakt vor dem
Einlegen falls erforderlich.
Entfernen Sie eine erschpfte Batterie umgehend aus
dem Gert. Es besteht erhhte Auslaufgefahr!
Batterien gehren nicht in den Hausmll!
Jeder Verbraucher ist gesetzlich verpichtet, Batterien
ordnungsgem zu entsorgen!
Halten Sie die Batterie von Kindern fern, werfen Sie die
Batterien nicht ins Feuer, schlieen Sie sie nicht kurz

Hhenmesser justieren
Der absolute Hhenmesswert wird durch die Vernderung

des Luftdrucks gemessen. Um eine mglichst genaue Messung
zu gewhrleisten, muss der Hhenmesser von Zeit zu Zeit
justiert werden. Achten Sie darauf, dass Sie den Hhenmesser
an einem Ort justieren, der auf einem Meeresspiegel von
0 Metern liegt oder an einem Ort dessen Hhe Sie als
verlsslichen Fixpunkt eingeben knnen.
Ungenaue Eingaben knnen bei der spteren Messung zu
Fehlern fhren.

Drcken Sie die ALTI / BARO-Taste 3 . Im Display 5

erscheint die Anzeige ALT.
Drcken Sie die MODE-Taste 2 fr 2 Sekunden. Die

Halten Sie die RESET-Taste 1 gedrckt, bis die
Hhenmesser-Anzeige auf 0 gesetzt ist.

Drcken Sie am Zielpunkt Ihrer Wanderung erneut die

Umgebungstemperatur sind, erlischt die Anzeige.
Wenn in extrem kalten Umgebungen die Wetterstation nicht
funktioniert, entnehmen Sie die Batterie und wrmen diese in
Ihrer Innenhand auf. Setzen Sie anschlieend die Batterie
wie im Kapitel Batterie wechseln beschrieben wieder ein.

Batterie wechseln
Drehen Sie mit einer passenden Mnze den Deckel des

Batteriefachs gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, um diesen zu
nen.
Nehmen Sie den Deckel ab.
Entnehmen Sie die verbrauchte Batterie und tauschen diese
gegen eine neue Batterie (Typ: Knopfzelle 3 V Lithium
CR 2032) aus. Achten Sie dabei auf die richtige Polaritt.
Setzen Sie den Deckel auf das Batteriefach. Achten Sie
darauf, dass die Gummidichtung auf der Unterseite des
Deckels richtig sitzt.
Drehen Sie mit einer passenden Mnze den Deckel im
Uhrzeigersinn, um diesen zu schlieen.

Reinigung und Pege
Verwenden Sie in keinem Fall Flssigkeiten und keine

Reinigungsmittel, da diese das Gert beschdigen.
Reinigen Sie das Gert nur uerlich mit einem
weichen, trockenen und fusselfreien Tuch.
