Ordinary Family Pension is admissible at 30% of last pay drawn when death is
neither attributable to nor aggravated by military service subject ot minimum of Rs.!"#$%

Ordinary family pension is also admissible in respect of missing personnel $
pensioners from the date of lodging F.'.R. after lapse of one year from the date of F.'.R.
subject to production of indemnity bond with effect from !(.0).()*.
Enhanced Rate
+nhanced rate of Ordinary Family Pension is admissible when an individual dies after
rendering " years of ,ualifying service for a period of " years or till the deceased would
have attained the age of *# years or *" years -w.e.f 3.#.(). at the lowest of the

Special Family Pension
0pecial Family Pension is admissible when the death of the individual is accepted as
attributable to or aggravated by military service at the rates mentioned below/

0econd life award of 0pecial Family Pension is sanctioned to the parent-s. of the
deceased and in absence of the parents1 eligible brothers and sisters at #0% of the rate
admissible in case of childless widow if the claimant was largely dependent on the
deceased and is in pecuniary need.
2ivision of 0pecial Family Pension
'f the recipient of 0pecial Family Pension does not support to other members of
the family or does not lead to a communal life1 the same may be divided in a ratio on the
recommendation of 3RO.
