List the Items You Plan to Introduce and

When will you introduce these items? (At the beginning of the thematic unit, throughout the
unit during a small group lesson plan, circle time)
-I will introduce about whats in the dramatic play area after group time, because we will be doing
inside, free choice work time after group time.

Are there any special rules that the children need to follow when using these items?
-Yes, the children will sort the items in the boxes and place recyclable items in the appropriate boxes
and throw away trash that cant be recycled.

What do you hope the children to learn?
-I hope the children will learn the difference between the bottles, cans, tin and where to place them in
the appropriate boxes. Also I hope they learn that recycling is good for the earth.

What are some ways that the children can reflect on what they have learned?
-When they are outside playing, I will have placed bottles and other items. Then will play a game to
place the items in the bin. From time to time we will play the game to remind them of recycling and
ask them why it is important.
