String of Leaves
Make a string of leaves to decorate a room. These simple-to-make strings make a
great Fall or Thankgsiving decoration. You can drape the strings across rooms, over
windows and from the chandeliers.

Supplies needed:
Construction paper orange, red, !ellow, "rown, and other earth tones#
Cra!ons or markers
$cissors
%lue, tape, or staples
& long piece of green or "rown !arn or string
'raw a leaf on a piece of construction paper. Make sure to draw a thick stem on the top !our
leaf will hang from this stem, which will "e folded over#. (f !ou)d like, use a leaf template.
Cut out the leaf. 'raw the leaf veins if !ou wish.
Fold the leaf)s stem in half.
&ttach the leaf to a long string using tape, glue, or staples. Make more leaves and attach
them to the string.
