    WHO NEEDS A MAN ON
    VALENTINES DAY BISCOTTI
    Perfect replacement for a date.
    J
    Preheat oven to 350F (175C)
    J
    In a medium bowl, mix together butter and sugar
    until light and uffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla.
    J
    In a separate bowl sift the dry ingredients;
    mix into the wet mixture. Stir in the hazelnuts.
    Dough will be thick.
    J
    Shape dough into 2 separate logs. Place logs
    onto lined cookie sheet and atten out to inch
    thick logs. Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar.

    Bake for 30 minutes until set. Remove from
    oven, cool on baking racks. When cool enough
    to touch, slice loaves into inch thick slices.
    Place slices back on cookie sheet. Bake for an
    additional 5-7 min per side.

    Let cool and enjoy!
    cup butter, softened
    1 cup sugar
    2 eggs
    1 tsp. vanilla extract
    2 cups all purpose our
    1 tsp. cinnamon
    1 tsp. baking powder
    tsp. salt
    1 cup aked lberts (hazel nuts),
    roasted at 325F (160C) for
    5-7 minutes.

    together for cinnamon sugar.
