The T,5 microwave only supports .i0ed modulation. The Hy'rid microwave supports .i0ed modulation
and adaptive modulation :A5;.
The .i0ed modulation re.ers to a modulation scheme wherein a modulation scheme is adopted invaria
'ly when the radio lin3 is running. @hen the .i0ed modulation is adopted, the modulation scheme can
'e con.igured through so.tware. A modulation scheme can range .rom 7%48 to 2$67A5.
The A5 is a technology through which the modulation scheme can 'e adAusted automatically accordin
g to the channel Buality. @hen the A5 is adopted, the lowest modulation mode :also called re.erence
mode; and highest modulation scheme :also called nominal mode; can 'e con.igured through so.twar

The 1<Line service is a point<to<point service .orm on the topology. The eBuipment transmits the pac3
ets or HLA" pac3ets on a speci.ied port on the user side to a port on the user side or networ3 side or t
o the 7in7 lin3 on the networ3 side, thus implementing point<to<point transparent transmission o. user
data.
According to transmission modes, 1<Line services are classi.ied into the .ollowing types(

The 1<LA" service is a multipoint<to<multipoint service .orm on the topology. The eBuipment .orwards
pac3ets or HLA" pac3ets on a speci.ied port .rom the user side to multiple ports or to a %@ or 7in7 li
n3 on the networ3 side, thus implementing multipoint<to<multipoint transparent transmission o. user da
ta.
n the networ3 side, the 1thernet services can 'e transmitted on a port or 7in7 lin3.
The 7in7 lin3 'earer means that an 4<HLA" tag o. the transport networ3 is added to pac3ets with the
C<HLA" tag on the networ3 o. the user side, and thus the pac3ets are la'eled with two HLA" tags wh
en traversing the transport networ3.
This provides a simple L2H%" tunnel .or users. @ith regard to the services carried on a 7in7 lin3, the
7o4 can 'e ensured 'y con.iguring the 7in7 policy.
