The document provides instructions for installing an air motor diaphragm. It explains that the diaphragm is designed to have the fabric reinforcement against the piston for flexibility and strength. The instructions note to place the end of the diaphragm against the end of the piston, push it onto the piston letting it roll inside out as it fits over, and leave 1/2 to 1 inch of the lip curled back to hold it between the bonnet and body flanges before reassembling the air motor.
