Education is a life time commitment of encouraging and
modeling spiritual, physical, and emotional growth in your classroom. The greatest sign of success for a teacher. . . is to be able to say, The children are now working as if I did not exist. ~ Maria Montessori My mission as an educator is to motivate my students to academic success. I strive to create an environment that encourages a positive spiritual outlook to education. I expect my students to be hard workers, honest, and trustworthy. As an educator I will model the development of good character and Gods love. In respecting my students beliefs and values, I dont expect them to become someone theyre not but my goal is to instill the opportunity for positive character development to occur. The goal of my teaching is to provide my students with information that will allow them to cooperate, explore, and discover. I want my students to be motivated learners and take the initiative for their own education. Being the educator I feel it is my duty to challenge my students to embrace their role as learners in the classroom. My curriculum will be focused on satisfying the learners needs by providing a safe environment and by promoting critical thinking and analyzing skills. I want my students to receive a quality education that will prepare them to endure daily life challenges and to reach their fullest potential. As Frederic W. Robertson said, Instruction ends in the school!room, but education ends only with life. In my classroom I strive to create an active learning environment that stimulates mental, physical, and spiritual growth. In my philosophy I hope to understand each of my students individual as well as group learning needs. As a teacher I will be patient, loving, understanding, and encouraging of all my students. My desire is to reach every childs emotional, physical, and academic needs and provide them with a safe environment that reveals Gods loving and forgiving character.
