Our Mission: Loving God . . . Loving People . . . Reaching Out!

Please remember in prayer:
Pr. Mike Sorsen Leonard Doffin Jo Schmit
Zach Wiebelhaus

If you know someone who is in need of prayer but whose name is not listed, it may be that
they have asked not to be included in the printed bulletin. Please remember them in your
personal prayers.

Flowers on the altar this first weekend of June are sponsored in memory of Otto &
Rose Sokol from John & Judy Goswick and family, and Jerry & Janice Sokol and
family; and by Jim & Elenore Merritt in celebration of their wedding anniversary.

If you are hospitalized, PLEASE CALL THE CHURCH to let us know and PLEASE ASK
to be added to the Lutheran List. This will help our hospital visitors, pastors and
Jacquie Samway (Coordinator of Congregational Care) find you when hospitalized.

Thank you to all who expressed their sympathy to our family with cards, memorials, and
kind words. And thank you to the ladies who served the lunch. A special thank you to Pr.
David for a beautiful service on Marlyns behalf. Betty Low & Family

Thanks to my church family for the prayers, cards, memorials and hugs I received after the
loss of my husband Don and my daughter Charlotte Demmers. Special thanks to Pastor
Dave for his visits and service, to John Skogstoe for the beautiful music and the ladies who
served and furnished for the lunch. I feel so blessed knowing all of you.
Gods Blessings, Zella Dederman

Thank you to everyone who helped serve and furnished food for the Don Dederman
funeral. You are appreciated! Carol Timperley

LUTHERAN WORLD RELIEF
Teach a person to sew and youve given
them tools they can use to earn an income,
support their family, and break out of
poverty. Many of the thousands of Fabric
Kits Lutheran World Relief distributes are
used in vocational training programs to
teach young men and women useful and
marketable sewing skills. Include the
following items in each Fabric Kit:
Two pieces of cotton or cotton-blend
fabric (no knits or 100% polyester).
Each piece should measure 2 yds of
60 fabric OR 3 yds of 44 fabric OR 4
yds of 36 fabric.
Two spools of neutral-colored, general
purpose thread, 250-300 yards each
Fabric should have no stains or holes.
Pieces do not need to match in size or
color/pattern. Fold thread and one piece
of fabric inside second fabric piece and tie
with yarn, sturdy string, ribbon or a strip of
fabric. Please do not donate items with
any religious symbols, messages or your
congregations name. Please do not
donate any items decorated with a U.S.
flag, patriotic or military symbols, or
references to the armed forces, including
camouflage.
Do not enclose the kit or any of its contents in
plastic bags. Look for the aluminum washtub
in the west hall for collection of the kits. WE
CAN MAKE A DIFFERENCE!
