Skoltech is pleased to announce a call for applications a new M.Sc.

fellowship
program in Energy Systems. Applications are due on 23 June for Russian citizens and
2 June for internationals. The program starts in August 2014.







National power systems in Russia and elsewhere are undergoing extraordinary changes. These
transformations require substantial theoretical and engineering developments in the modeling, analysis,
design, and operation of energy systems. Here at Skoltech, were building a novel research and
education environment that provides training in fundamental knowledge as well as in prototyping skills for
the transformation of our energy systems. Over the course of the two-year program, students will become
expert in modeling and simulations, optimization and control, power electronics, and smart grids. All
students will complete a company-based project in our Industry Immersion program, and research a
masters thesis in our brand new Skoltech Center for the Modeling, Analysis, and Design of Energy
Systems, a collaboration with MIT.
