About Pythagoras:
Pythagoras believed that Number
rules the universe. Pythagoras was
part of a math group that beneted
math and took credit for it as a whole.
They studied odd and even numbers,
triangular numbers and perfect
numbers, including the theory he
created. His tiny group had wanted to
keep the irrational numbers and
Pythagorean theorem to themselves
because of a vow they had made to
each other. He contributed to the
world understanding triangles, areas,
angles, proportions, polygons and
polyhedral. He liked relating music to
mathematics (however that worked).
The Pythagorean Theorem:
The pythagorean theorem is the total
sides of a right triangle. A right
triangle is a triangle with one right
angle. To discover each side on the
triangle, a person needs to ll in the
variables in this equation:
The C in the
equation is called
the hypotenuses
and both the A
and B are called the lines. This
equation is used to nd the
hypotenuses and is only used if you
have both the lines.
