Standard 7: Instructional Strategies

The teacher uses various instructional strategies to ensure that all learners develop a deep understanding of
content areas and their connections, and build skills to apply and extend knowledge in meaningful ways.
Rationale: Providing students with many different opportunities to demonstrate their learning and knowledge is
important. As a teacher I have developed many different instructional strategies including graphic organizers,
deep thinking questioning, PowerPoints, and visual depictions to support my students and their skill
development. Some of these instructional exercises and organizers can be seen below.
