Plastic ending up in oceans

What happens when plastic ends up in the
ocean?
Plastic is a different than trash, with 46,000 pieces
of plastic per square mile.
Plastic does not biodegrade; instead it photo-
degrades with sunlight, breaking into smaller and
smaller pieces, those pieces are eaten by marine life
For every marine life there is, 6 pieces are with it 6:1
100,000 marine creatures a year die from plastic
entanglement and these are the ones found.
Approximately 1 million sea birds also die from
plastic.
