Dear Kindergarten Families,

My name is Miss McStraw. I will be student teaching in your childs

classroom with Mrs. Callen, from September 3

to October 25

. I am from
Hinsdale and a senior at SUNY Fredonia where I am earning my Bachelor
Degree in the Early Childhood/Childhood Dual Certification Program.
I have always wanted to become a teacher. My inspiration comes from
the many teachers that I have had the pleasure of working with in my
college career. I also take pride in seeing the smiles and light on a childs
face when they come into the classroom. I want to be able to create that
safe environment for my children when I become a teacher. I hope to gain
the knowledge I need to pursue my career as a teacher as well as gaining
the experience with your child.
I am very excited to be working with your children for my second
student teaching placement. I hope to make your childs everyday learning
fun and exciting. My goal as a student teacher is to work with Mrs. Callen to
create a positive classroom in which your child will be excited to learn in.
