Control Loop System

A control loop is number of set devices to manage command, direct or regulate

behaviors of other devices or system.

Closed Control Loop System
A system in which control action is dependent upon output. System may be manually
or automatically controlled.

Desired Valve
Valve of controlled condition that operators desires to obtained.

Set Valve
Valve of controlled condition to which controller set.

Controller
Regulator in a signal representing controlled condition as compared with a signal
representing command signal.

Transmitter
Sensor transmitters are measurement or signal conditioning packages that provide a
standard calibrated output from a sensor or transducer in form a current loop output.
