Neutral angle An angle taken from a straight angle to point out the simplicity of the image Low angle An angle taken from a low angle to either make the target or an object look more superior High angle Taken to either make the target took smaller or weaker or to lighten up the mood that they are emitting Elimination and use of space To either use empty space to draw the viewers eyes towards the object or to eliminate it by filling it in to make the image eye catching or more interesting Leading lines Line hidden within the image to draw the viewers eyes towards wherever these lines lead Birds eye view This angle is used to look down on the target to either make them look smaller or weaker, or to get another perspective on the scene Rule of thirds Objects are put in a main point of interest using imaginary lines instead of leaving the target in the centre, making it plain or cheap Worms eye view This shot is a very low angle taken from the ground (what a worm would see) to make the target took large, powerful or superior. This is a small plant only fifty centimetres high Pattern/Repetition This is using simple patterns or repeating objects to make them look interesting by bouncing the viewers point of interest around the image, keeping their minds occupied and hence keeping them interested Frame within a frame This is using the images surroundings to narrow the point of interest to be inside the frame. And also bringing some creativity and point of view into the image Symmetry/Balance This allows the rule of thirds to be broken and still allow interest. It uses leading lines and in some cases pattern and balance to make the viewer follow the symmetry line Point of View Point of view is using the angle, lighting and the actual target of the image to set the viewer to think about the image and come up with what is happening in the image, often becoming the subject in their minds
