A a candidate, I worked
very closely with both my
partner and my campaign
manger to create an
effective campaign.

I organized my group
according to roles and
expressed my ideas and
thoughts on the future
government, as well as the
current one.

I brainstormed solutions
and tried to include
everyones point of view
from Lista 9.

VICTORIA CHANNER

As candidate for president,
I reviewed the corrections
Andrew had made on the
speech and corrected them
while at the same time
adding some things I
thought were necessary to
convey our partys
message to our audience. I
gave the speech to my
block, block 6, and to our
entire grade at the oven.

As campaign manager I
helped Andreas initial list.

I came up with the name of
PROGRESA and the slogan
too.

I gave support to my
candidate by giving her
constructive criticism and
feedback about her speech
and proposals.

List 9 was first separated
into two groups which
were one for Victoria and
another one for Andrea.

Later in the project we
concluded that it would be
better to make an alliance
(Victoria remained as
president and Andrea
agreed to be nice-
president).

As campaign manager I
helped make the slogan
"Por la victoria siempre"
and helped come up woth
out name,CIVIL.

We helped organized the
party, by managing the
things that should be done
to win the election

As a candidate, I found it
important to research the
current issues of Ecuador
in order to provide
solutions.

I focused on the private
sector, as well as the social
and intangible aspects of
society.

I took into account the
environmental problems
with oil and petroleum
companies (especially
focusing on the Yasuni
case)

I also found it important to
take into accout the
previous presidents of
Ecuador, as well as
presidents from other
countries (such as those in
the USA).

I also researched the
current politival system
and their decisions, in
order to now the most
current events going on at
the time and the decisions
that are being made
presently.


ON SECTION 5

NATALY SERRANO I gave advice to Andrea
about the solutions she
was proposing in her
speech.

For example I told her that
jobs are created not only
by creating internal
companies, but also by
investing in foreign
companies

I suggested her to
emphasize the idea of
creating jobs to help the
economy.

I also made sure the rest
of her solutions were
realistic and valid.

I made this poster with
the purpose of
highlighting the number
nine. This number
represented Andrea and
Victorias list.

I wanted to use the
number nine as a logo so
people could easily
recognize our campaign

The blue color used also
was chosen since it was

the lists identity.

promote the campaign in
various sizes, to carry
around and paste in
walls, always using blue
colors because it
represented our party

I created posters to help
the party gain popularity.
The posters were blue
because that is the color
that was used to
represent the party.

I also included the
essential information
such as the list number
and the names of
candidates.

I also collaborated with a

My role in Lista 9 was
to design the posters.

After doing so we
posted them in the
school hallways to
promote our canidated,
as well as our party-

I was the graphic

designer for Andrea's
and Victoria's campaign.

My job was to decide
how to make propaganda
for people to get to know
them.

As a group we decided
that blue and white will
be the colors of the
campaign, too.

I made sure to have all
the posters with those
two colors and big
letters.

I also made virtual
posters to put up on our
website, page and group
on facebook.

They explained our main
principles and the
essential information.

LUCIA JERVIS

As speech writer, I wrote
this speech because I knew
that Victoria could lead the
country to a better future

She has great leadership
skills, and she will keep her
promises.

I know that she will be able
to change this country and
make it independent. I wrote
this speech because I have
faith in Victoria and that she
will be a great leader.

As well, Victoria included
in the final speech her
proposals, which I could not
write because these were her
promises.

I wrote this speech for
Victoria because all it states
is completely true

I believe she will be a great
and honest candidate and
leader.

As Martin Luther King
said, we have learned to fly
as birds and how to swim as
fishes, but we still haven't
learned the simple art of
walking side by side as
brothers and sisters. This is
what CIVIL wants to
change. Even though we are
all unique we should treat
others as equals, we should
all have the same rights and
freedom

We completely disagree
with corruption, insecurity,
loss of freedom, stealing,
and all the possible things
that are wrong and against
your rights. This is why we
want to we want to increase
the security in this country,
we want to decrease the
poverty, we want to be a
free country which will
develop without having to
depend on any other
country.

I wont make any promises
I can keep, all my works and
proposals will be fulfilled.

Civil wants what is better
for you. For a better future,
vote Lista 9.




ANDREA ORDONEZ

As candidate I wrote my
own speech and focused
on the principles of
security, freedom of
speech, economic strength,
good international
relations and a stable
government.

The main idea was for the
people to have a voice and
to be educated enough to
be able to analyze and
question the decisions of
the government, in order
to create a better society.

I encouraged
environmental protection
in order to increase
tourism and become less
dependant on petroleum
economically.

I also focused on
diminishing the social gap
between different classes
by increasing the public
school level and the
number of jobs available in
the country.

My role in the campaign
was recruiter.
I publicized our list by
telling everyone about our
campaign, making posters
and handing out lollipops
as propaganda.
I also helped make the
slogan and took part in the
speech by giving the
candidate my opinions.

I helped by advertising the
party by giving out
cupcakes and lollipops.
I hung up posters and told
our classmates about the
benefits of our list and
candidates.

I help the party gain votes
by talking to my
classmates and giving
them lollipops to gain
popularity for the list.

I told them about the
proposals, as well.

I bought lollipops to
promote the campaign
because I thought they
were an interesting way of
gaining my classmates
attention.

I brought cupcakes and
lollipops to give to people
to do campaign.

The list choose two colors
which were blue and white
and showed our support
by having members of the
list wear these colors to
school several days.


CAMILA PEREZ

As a promoter I hung up
poster around the school
and handed out lollipops
to other students in hope
that we would gain their
votes.

I also expressed the
candidates ideas to others
in order to encourage
them to vote for list 9.


ISABEL HERRERA

I also assigned some
people to bring blue
lollipops for the campaign
and i baked cupcakes with
a blue frosting.

We also hoped to gain
votes virtually by making a
facebook groups and pages
to gain support and
popularity.

In these pages we posted
our main beliefs, pictures
that we believe represent
our party and important
announcements such as
the election days and the
days in which online
voting is open. We found
this to be an easy way to
communicate with the
entire class due to the fact
that everyone has an
account (literally).
