Burning Desire

Hello there and welcome to Six Minutes. Im still into Think and Grow Rich here by
Napoleon Hill. He said, A burning desire to be and to do is the starting point from which
the dreamer must take off. He said, Dreams are not born of indifference, laziness or
lack of ambition.

A burning desirehow do you develop that? Well, think about it. Desire is the effort of
the unexpressed possibility within seeking expression without through your action. In
other words, its an idea thats in your subconscious mind that is attempting to get out
through your action. Thats what desire is. It comes from the Latin desiro, to give birth to
the children. You originate an idea. You plant the idea in your subconscious mind and
you feed it often enough it turns into a desire.

See, desire is of the subconscious. Thats the universal mindthats where all action
comes through. The want is in the consciousness. So if you really want something, you
may not know how to get it but if you dwell on it and emotionalize it, and really get into
the emotion of itit must express itself. Thats what desire is all about.

Sit down and ask yourself, Are you really emotionally involved with what you want? Or
are you just trying to do a little better? Give that some thought. Some honest
introspection makes a big difference.
