Multiple Intelligences:
Every learner is different.
Students should be given
the opportunity to learn in a
manner that best suits their
needs and learning style.
Community of Learners:
By creating a community of
learners within my classroom, I
will ensure that every child feels
welcome and valuable. Students
will work cooperatively to solve
problems and grow as
individuals.

Adapted Curriculum:
Lessons and assessments will
have to be modified to ensure
success for all. Certainly, this
involves a fair amount of extra
work for the teacher but, in this
case, it is a worthy effort.
Respect:
Students have a right to be
respected and valued for who
they are and what they bring to
the classroom. I will foster an
environment of respect and
appreciation for all within my
classroom.
IEPs:
IEPs are an essential part
of an exceptional
students academic life.
IEPs set specific,
attainable goals for these
students and provide
teachers and parents
means by which to
achieve them.
