M.H.G.B. -'; Date: July 26,2010 AUTHORIZATION FOR TH CITY MAAGER TO RELEASE MORTGAGE AN RELATED SECURTY INSTRUMNTS FOR KASHA GULLY, 2729 SCOTT STRET, 5(H) AFFORDABLE HOMEOWNRSHI PROGRA WHREAS, the City of Des Moines as the Muncipal Housing Agency is a parcipant in the United States Deparent of Housing and Urban Development's Section 5(h) Affordable Homeownership Program in which single-famly homes are sold to eligible buyers; and WHREAS, on May 3, 2004 by Resolution 04-868, the Muncipal Housing Governg Board approved the policy for the reduction of the term of forgivable second 5h Homeownership mortgages to conform with the curent seven year requiement; and WHREAS, Kamesha GuIy (Borrower) purchased the propert locally known as 2729 Scott S1. (the Propert) and the Muncipal Housing Agency holds a second mortgage on the propert; and WHREAS, the Borrower has applied for early forgiveness of the term of the second mortgage and staff has determed tht the Borrower has successfuy met all of the program requiements and quafies for early forgiveness. NOW, THREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Muncipal Housing Governg Board that on behal of the City of Des Moines, Muncipal Housing Agency the City Manger or his designee is hereby authoried and diected to execute a release and satisfaction of the Affordable Homeownership mortgages, liens, covenats and other securty instrents for the Propert, in such form approved by Legal Counsel. , BE IT FUTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager or his designee is authorized to diect tht those intrents be recorded with the Polk County Recorder's Offce along with the refiancing instrents.
