Hall in the City Clerks office Monday thru Friday 8:30am-4:30am. Completed
applications MUST be delivered to the office of the Clerk, 1100 East DuPont Avenue
Belle, West Virginia 25015 NO LATER THAN 4:30pm, June 13, 2014.

The MINIMUM eligibility requirements for testing for the position of Probationary
Police Officer are:
Not less than 18 nor more than 40 years of age at the time of the application
United States Citizen
No serious physical or mental infirmities
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent
Possess a valid drivers license

A Pass/Fail PHYSICAL AGILITY TEST consisting of:
18 Push-Ups in one (1) minute
27 Sit-Ups in one (1) minute
Run 1.5 miles within 15 minutes and 20 seconds
Test Date is June 21, 2014 at 9:00 A.M. The physical agility test will begin promptly at
9:00am. Applicants who successfully complete the physical agility test will move onto
the written test phase. The written test phase will begin immediately after the
physical test.
