Comparison of the Effects of Vitamin E and Mephenamic Acid on the Intensity of
Primary Dismenorrhea Abstract Introduction: Dysmenorrhoea is a common disorder especially in young women this is the most common illness that makes patients absent in their job and education and decrease personal activities that no paying attention to it makes economical, soud and family damages it is usually used anti Inflemmatory and oral contraseptive pill for curing this complication and don't going to meet by some patients because of their side effect due to importance of recently topic some research has been done about impression of better drugs That one of the mooted cures is using vitamin E Material and methods: The research that was a clinical trial to be accomplished on 1 students of !erman "ahonar university Those who aged #$#% were given with to primary dysmenorrhoea Those who have necessary condition selected to come in to research and accidentally divided in to two groups& in the first group vitamin E prescribed ' units daily two days before beginning of bleeding according to dates of former menses(if mense is regular) and during the first *# hours of bleeding& In second group mephnamic acid capsul (#%$mg) prescribed (TD+) during the first ', hours of bleeding every cure method used two months then after two periods of consuming drugs the -uestionnaire completed and comparisoned then the information gathered with a statistical software and appointed centeral and dispersion indicators then analysis with the men vetin pour and (./&%) was the significant leve of the e0am Results: both groups were similar to each other about ago, educational level and mense situation& Intensity of the primary dysmenorrh1I2a shows the significant decreasing after the cure in both groups but in comparison to between two drugs the scope differences of decreasing ache intensity in two groups is near to significant statistically& (.3&%1) means both of drugs, decrease ache in the some scope also the results show that tendency to consuming vitamin E is more than mephnamic acid& Conclusion: because there isn't any significant difference about ache intensity of this research in both groups, it seems that cure with vitamin E is more useful for dysmenorrhoea patients (because of less side affected)
