Planned expansion of CPC is to be carried out in three phases
Phase 1
Target date: 12 moonths from project sanction.
Addition of new pumps at existing pumping stations to add 10 mn T/yr (200,000 bpd).
Phase 2
Target date: 24 moonths from project sanction.
Construction of five new pumping stations to add a further 10 mn T/yr (200,000 bpd).
Phase 3
Target date: 36 moonths from project sanction.
Construction of a further five new pumping stations, additional storage capacity and a third offshore mooring point to add 16 mn T/yr (320,000 bpd).
