BRIEF TECHNICAL SPECIFICATION FOR ROAD TANKER

Inner Shell : SS 304 grade 3mm thick.

Inner Dished Ends : SS 304 grade 2.5mm thick.

Outer Shell (3/4 portion) : SS 304 grade 2mm thick.

Outer Dished Ends : SS 304 grade 2mm thick.

Bottom Cradle/Saddle (1/4 portion) : MS 3mm thick.

Insulation : LRB 100 Kg/cum density 80mm thick.

Outlet Valve : 76mm Butterfly valve with one end sms union.

Other Fittings : Man hole assembly, Cat walk way, Ladder &
Railings, back valve box assembly, side
Gussets.

All the welded joints will be grounded smoothly, polished to 150 grits finish and will
be tested with DPD.

All MS surfaces will be coated with Epoxy primer.

The tank will have adequate slope towards rear end so as to easy discharge of liquid.

At all metal to metal contact portion in inner shell will be provided with asbestos
packing sheets to avoid temperature radiation.
