To whom it may concern:

Please accept my enthusiastic recommendation of Mrs. Amy Jackson as a
member of your teaching staff. I have been Amys principal for three years. During
that time, she has not only embodied our schools mission and vision in her
interactions with both parents and students, but she has also been a leader of
innovation in our faculty.
Amy is an individual who lives a lifestyle of professional growth. She has
introduced and implemented research-based best practices in her classroom, and
has inspired her colleagues to do the same. Amy successfully implemented the
Daily 5 into her Reading Instruction. This past year, she successfully piloted small
group instruction in Math.
Two years ago, Mrs. Jackson planned collaboratively as part of a third grade
team intentionally focused on improving the academic performance of her
students. Her students had the highest standardized test scores of the entire school.
She is a teacher who creates a culture of creativity and innovation in her classroom.
This year, due to our enrollment, she had to move into a self-contained 3
rd
grade
classroom; however, she routinely collaborated across grade levels with our 5
th

grade Science teacher and with our 4
th
grade Math teacher.
While I am sad to lose Mrs. Jackson on my faculty, I have no doubt she will
continue to bless the lives of the children and positively impact the educational
