Three-Phase Circuits (I part)

Problem 1.
In a 3-phase balanced Y-Y system, the source voltage is V
ph
=230V rms. The
impedance per phase Z
Y
=(10+j8). If the line impedance per phase is
(0,6+j0,4), find the line currents and load voltages.
Problem 2.
In the 3-phase balanced Y-Y system, the load voltage is V
0
=410 -2
o
V rms, the
line impedance is (1,5+j1,0) and the source voltage is V
ph
=440 V rms. Find the
load impedance.
Problem 3.
In a balanced Y- system, the source voltage is V
ph
=120 30
o
V rms. The line and
load impedance are (6+j0,4) and (24+j12) respectively. Find the phase
currents of the -load and of the supplying lines.
Problem 4.
A balanced -connected load having an impedance of (130+j70) per phase is
fed from a line having an impedance of (3+j5) per phase. The line-to-line
voltage at the sending end of the line is 1100V rms. Calculate the line currents
and the line voltage of the -load.
