Executive Summary
The customer, a New York-based company, wants to implement a remote replication solution between the
primary Oracle environment in Albany and the disaster recovery (DR) site in New York City. Several
solutions were explored to meet the customers objective, with the ultimate goal being to allow testing and
backup of the Oracle database at the remote site with minimum impact on the customers production
environment.
The final proposed solution was to use SnapView
