Many Words

Many words to make a sentence,

Many words to form a thought.
Many words to show emotion,
Surely unarmed we fought,
But for the bitter snapping,
Between one friend or two,
The sharp jabs of jealousy
Pain both me and you.
Hard words,
Breaking on impact,
Fragile egos
Shattered little pacts
Of loyalty and
Secrets being kept
Out of bonds of friendship
We have violently leapt.
The end result: spirits crushed
And hearts broken
A friendship ruined,
No more words spoken.
