Essentialism

of Education

I Believe
in teaching common
knowledge
Embedding
moral and
values
and practicality
and intellectual
knowledge to
be the model
citizen
By this I mean
Essentialism
Essentialists hope that when students
leave school, they will possess not only
basic skills and an extensive body of
knowledge? But, also disciplined, practical
minds, capable of applying schoolhouse
lessons in the real world.

Book sense and common sense

assumptions on
