PREFACE

This Eight weeks summer internship is a part of two year management degree course. The
summer internship which is for practical knowledge, is an integral part of the course
curriculum of management and is an ongoing process to correlate the theoretical knowledge
with practical overtones having regard to the areas of certain specialization. Summer
internship mainly aims at making one aware of industrial environment which means that one
gets to know the limitations, constraints and freedom under which a person works in an
industry, apart from getting knowledge about various management things like project
management, process development, logistics, research and development. This also adds up to
an opportunity to see from close quarter the management workers relationship.
