Summer School Mission
To ensure students graduate on time by:
Providing credit recovery for students in
grades 9 12 who have failed a class
during the school year.
Offering skill enhancement to students in
grades K 8 who are at risk of not
graduating on time.
Funding
Alternative Learning Statute
District receives reimbursement based on
seat/learning time.
Must meet Graduate Incentive Criteria
Continual Learning Plans must be on file
for each student
Learners
A cross-section of at-risk learners not heavily
dominated by any one category
LEP (Limited English Proficiency)

One year or more behind in coursework
Not meeting proficiency on NWEA or MCA
