WVSU Hosts AT&T's "It Can Wait"

Simulator
On June 2, 2014, students and Upward
Bound participants learned first-hand the
real dangers of texting while driving. AT&T's
"It Can Wait" Campaign provided a driving
simulator, which challenged participants to
drive through a video course and respond to
text messages without crashing, committing
a driving infraction, or receiving a ticket from
the simulated police force. This eye-
opening community educational event was
supported by the West Virginia State Police
and received media coverage from five
major metro area news outlets.
