1. INSTRUCTIONS
1.1 Teachers should explain the suggested techniques on how to answer
questions to the pupils.

12. 3n investigation was carried out by Ei7ul on the temperatures of hot water in two
bea&ers. Kne of the bea&ers was wrapped with towel. 6e poured 'DD ml hot water
into each bea&er. The temperatures of the hot water in the bea&ers was
measured every 2 minutes for a period of < minutes.

1'. 3n investigation was carried out by (uan 6idayah to find out the ability of
material to absorb water. Three types of materials were placed in trays 3. 2 and %
respectively as shown in diagram below. 3fter 2 minutes . the materials
were removed from the trays. The remaining water in each tray was poured
into a measuring cylinder.
