Mandeville, LA The Louisiana Qualifier for the National Select 7on7 Championship will take place June 20 th and 21 st in Mandeville, Louisiana. The tournament will bring together some of the best talent and competition in the area, in the hopes of making it to the National Championships this July in Hoover, AL.
The Louisiana Qualifier will take place at Lakeshore High School in Mandeville, LA. The Tournament will begin will pool play starting at 2:30 p.m. on Friday, June 20 th . Winner and loser bracket games will take place on Thursday, June 21st. The winner of the Louisiana Qualifer will advance to the National Championships in Hoover, AL.
Teams participating in the 2014 Louisiana Qualifer are: Amite High School (Amite, LA), Biloxi High School (Biloxi, MS), Bogalusa High School (Bogalusa, LA), Chalmette High School (Chalmette, LA), Covington High School (Covington, LA), De La Salle High School (New Orleans, LA), Fisher High School (Lafitte, LA), Fontainebleau High School (Mandeville, LA), Hancock High School (Kiln, MS), H.L. Bourgeois High School (Gray, LA), Holy Cross School (New Orleans, LA), Jewel Sumner High School (Kentwood, LA), Lakeshore High School (Mandeville, LA), Landry-Walker High School (New Orleans, LA), Pearl River High School (Pearl River, LA), Ponchatoula High School (Ponchatoula, LA).
The Louisiana Qualifier is something we have been wanting to happen and we are excited to have the opportunity to partner with National Select 7on7, says Lakeshore High School Head Football Coach Craig Jones. We have great football down here in south Mississippi and Louisiana and we cannot wait to show case that. We have several national prospects competing in this event which should lead to some great competition.
